Meet the principals of NetVideo Consulting…

Tom Galvin

Tom GalvinNetVideo Consulting founder Tom Galvin has been an industry leader in the development of IP video systems through his work at General Electric and Verint Video Solutions.

As Vice President of Engineering at General Electric’s Security division, Tom led both the engineering and marketing efforts for GE’s SymSecure IP Video solution.

Prior to his work at GE, Tom was Vice President of Product Development at Verint-Loronix, where he led the creation of products for IP video systems used in big box retail, government installations, airports and other enterprise facilities. While at Verint, Tom led the effort to design and implement one of the world’s largest fully integrated IP video networks at a major retailer – one that includes 1,500 locations and 40,000 cameras.

In his career before entering the security industry, Tom held various technical and executive leadership positions with MCI, Boeing and Rockwell International. Tom is the co-inventor of two patents regarding voice-over-IP technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Sridhar Krishnaswamy is a leading consultant in the architecture, design and development of digital video surveillance technologies. His software development company successfully uses the on-Site/off-shore model to deliver high-quality turnkey projects in video surveillance. He has provided consulting and software development services for some of the largest companies in the video surveillance industry.

Sridhar has extensive telecom and networking expertise; he worked as a senior advisor with MCI for eight years and as a network consultant with IBM for five years. He has a number of patents in the areas of video transmission over hybrid packet/circuit networks and IP telephony. Sridhar has a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Iowa.
